Dr. Matthew Peverelle

Dr. Peverelle has a special interest in obesity and non-surgical weight loss, as well as the effects of obesity on the liver (fatty liver disease). He is trained in both intragastric balloon insertion and the Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty (ESG) procedure.

He completed specialist training at the Austin Hospital’s Liver Transplant Unit and Monash Health. He then completed further specialty training in hepatology (liver disease) at the the world-renowned King’s College Hospital, London.

Dr. Peverelle currently holds consultant positions at Monash Health and Western Health and regularly attends international medical conferences to stay up to date with the latest research in the field.
