Bariatric Surgeon
Dr Steven Leibman is an Upper Gastrointestinal, Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgeon. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine at the University of New South Wales in 1994 and then commenced his advanced training with the Western Training Program at Westmead Hospital. He completed his FRACS Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2002.
He is a Clinical Lecturer with Sydney University Faculty of Medicine, Lead Clinician UGI and HPB Cancer NSCCAHS, and the Chair North Shore UGI/HPB Multidisciplinary Cancer Team meetings, Past Chair of the Younger Fellow’s Committee RACS and was the Director of Surgical Trauma at Royal North Shore from 2003- 2009.
