The BMI Clinic offers different payment options and plans for your weight loss journey.
Zip Money
- 12 months interest-free (for amounts under $15,000)
- Any balance outstanding at the expiry of the interest-free period will be charged at the standard variable rate, 23.9% per annum as of 1 February 2023
- 36-month payment term
- $99 establishment fee
- $9.95 monthly account-keeping fee
- Interest rates starting from 6.45%
- Offer loan amounts from $2,001 to $50,000
- Up to 84-month payment term
- No early payout fees
- 11.99%- 21.99% per annum interest
- 48 month payment term
- $140- $595 establishment fee (depending on the loan amount)
- $10 monthly administration fee
Early release of Superannuation
We work with a third-party company called Access My Super that assists patients in obtaining early release of superannuation to assist funding their weight loss treatment. To meet the criteria set by the ATO, you will need to be experiencing weight-related pain e.g. back pain, leg pain, joint pain etc. Please note, there is a $499.00 fee payable to Access My Super to have this process completed for you.
Private Health Insurance
* For Gastric Balloons and Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty (ESG)
Private health insurers and Medicare have declined to issue any item numbers for these procedures, and as such we can’t claim any rebates or coverage for the procedure.
* For Laparoscopic Sleeve gastroplasty (LSG) and Gastric Bypass
With top cover Private Health Insurance you may be able to have your hospital fees covered for the procedures above. Please check with your private health insurance provider that you are covered for the item numbers 31575 and 31572.
Please be aware that if you are covered for the procedure you will still be required to pay the BMI Program fee.
